Gareth qualified as a solicitor in 1982, since when he has focused on civil and commercial litigation claims, as well as personal injury and disease work. Gareth has represented claimants and their trade unions, as well as defendants and their insurers.
Gareth joined international firms Eversheds LLP in 2008 and Kennedys LLP in 2013, where he acted for insurers and companies with a national profile, including water utility companies, financial institutions, rail franchises and government agencies.
Having subsequently joined BC Legal, in 2015, Gareth continues to exercise his wealth of experience in the day-to-day handling of claims involving injuries of the utmost severity and occupational disease claims relating to noise, vibration and irritant exposures. Gareth’s notable cases include Jowett v Woolwich Equitable Building Society; Saunders v MBC (Builders - Ashingdon) Ltd; and Vinos v Marks & Spencers Plc [2000] EWCA Civ B526.
