Ben qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and has been handling personal injury and occupational disease claims for 20 years, latterly specialising in group actions, test case claims, complex medical causation issues and corporate liability.
Ben was closely involved as part of a team advising on insurers’ strategic response to an influx of several thousand industrial deafness claims. He was also a key part of the team acting for the defendant in Baker v Quantum Clothing Group Ltd & Ors as it progressed through the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
Before joining BC Legal in January 2014, Ben was an associate at Weightmans LLP. Ben is a ‘guru’ on NIHL claims.
